Workforce Resolutions - Workforce Misconduct

Workforce Resolutions investigates workplace misconduct.

Misconduct is an act or actions undertaken by a person that is done wilfully and with wrong intentions. Such actions include theft, fraud, assault, bullying and harassment, breaches of legislative requirements and failure to carry out a lawful and reasonable instruction that is consistent with the employee’s contract of employment.

KPMG found over $1 Billion in fraud related losses to Australian organisations between 2008 and 2011. KPMG also found that 51% of surveyed organizations in Australia and New Zealand reported incidents of ‘unethical behavour’ (other than fraud). Typically respondents reported that poor communications related to organisational values and code of conduct contributed to misconduct. The result of this behavour included loss in public trust and reputation and loss in productivity and moral.
